the time is gone but thoughts will stay
we won't take time to dwell on the past
instead latch onto those ones we want to last
time should always be set to reminisce
but don't let it blind you from the things you can't miss
just let your mind be free to go on its own
and make the best of all you've been shown
grow to learn and teach unto others
treat strangers like they are your brothers
the young and frail are soon to learn
of elder cause and elder concern
it may not make sense, you will wonder why
